Touch NZ are looking for a new Tournaments Manager!
The purpose of the role, while it may seem pretty self explanatory – actually covers a bit of ground;
- To provide quality delivery of Touch NZ tournaments
- To provide quality service support to the Touch NZ membership
- Develop and maintain a long term national tournament plan including identified venues and locations
- To provide quality support for the tournament sector to the Game Development Panel
- To manage the transfer and draft systems and tournament eligibility policies for Touch NZ’
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications, or relevant work/life experience, in relevant discipline
- Excellent relationship management skills; effective in managing these internally, externally, and across all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent attention to detail; excellent administration and record-keeping skills; high level of organisational skills; ability to plan and achieve objectives.
- A practical understanding of evaluation methods and practices.
- Experience in managing and prioritising multiple and competing tasks and projects to meet deadlines and produce quality results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly developed verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to relate to a wide range of people across a span of situations.
- Competent working with electronic systems and tools.
- High natural motivation and able to adapt skills in a wide variety of ways according to the situation.
- Excellent data interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of, and commitment to, Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Full, clean drivers license, experience driving with a trailer.
